According to the photograph, this was taken February 12, 1921, a Saturday 95 years ago! We've been told the Rand Rag Pickers were a group of neighbors that got together to perform plays and skits to ward off the boredom and isolation of a long winter in Rand Colorado.

Passed through in 1987 and got a few nice pictures especially the "Welcome" sign with the antlers decorating the edges! Looked around for someone to talk to to no avail. This was in July of that year. As a teacher I always pulled out the 8x10 glossy of the sign to show my students. Always a treat for all. WR
